Two Stage Pyrolysis Cum Controlled Incineration Device And Process For The Conversion Of Leather Solid Waste Using The Same
Disclosed herein is Two Stage Pyrolysis Cum Controlled Incineration Device and a method of incineration of leather solid waste to generate clean gaseous fuel and other byproducts. (Indian Patent application no. 795Del2014).
A Novel Fluidized Bed Reactor for treatment of Waste Water
The conventional waste water treatment methodologies, which comprise multiple unit operations, require high electrical energy and generate huge volume of sludge along with odor. The present invention is able to obviate these limitations by providing a new fluidised bed reactor. The act of fluidisation maintains uniform mixing of carbon catalyst immobilised with microorganisms throughout the reactor volume for effective wastewater treatment. The improved design facilitates the generation of very less quantity of sludge. Further, the problems of chocking of pipe line, normally envisaged in conventional systems, are completely eliminated in the new device. The exhausted odor gas venting out of the reactor can be easily purified externally before it is discharged into the environment. The reactor, which requires a minimum space, is envisaged to play a major role in solving problems relating to environmental pollution arising out of the waste water discharged from various processing industries as ell as domestic sources. The invention has been applied for patent protection (Indian Patent application no. 2728Del2012).
An improved transportable device for flaying of dead animals
An improved transportable device for flaying of fallen animals from rural and urban areas has been innovated. The design features are exclusive for lifting and flaying of dead animals. The device is mechanized vehicle which uses power transmission system for loading, hoisting for flaying, carrying and unloading of the fallen animals. It has several advantages, in view of its (a) easy operability (b) reduction in time for flaying (c) provision for carrying and unloading two large or three small dead animals after flaying (d) hydraulic or mechanical system which increases efficiency (e) drastic reduction (by 50 %) for capital investment (f) designed exclusively for flaying of dead animals. The invention has been applied for patent protection (Indian Patent application no. 269DEL2011).
A novel scouring device for industrial applications
The device consists of a storage vessel with an arrangement to induce dabbling effect on unclean feed stock, perforated floor for separating the grit and other foreign materials from the feed stock and a heating arrangement which enables denaturing of cleaned feed stock. The device uses water for separating the grits. The used water from the scouring device can be reused both in the scouring process as well as downstream processes and the rejects like gritty materials, etc can be disposed safely as per statutory norms.
The invention has been applied for Patent protection (Indian Patent application no. 2136DEL06).
A novel transportable device for lifting and flaying animals
A novel transportable device for lifting and flaying animals has been developed. The device can be fitted on the rear side of a vehicle and can be operated by a flayer cum driver to lift the animal and also flay the hide if the animal is dead. This device has several advantages over the existing methods presently used for lifting animals. The device has tremendous potential to improve the availability of quality hides from fallen animals to Indian leather industry if used by flayers and their societies in the country. The device also ensures proper collection of the remaining parts of the carcass for further processing into value-added products like bone meal, meat meal, tallow etc.
The invention has been applied for Patent protection (Indian Patent application no. 0200DEL2007;Patent pending).
