A high impact gravity breaker and a method for efficacious breaking with minimum space footprint
The run of mine coals/ores are crushed before being processed. Generally, jaw crushers, roller crushers, etc. are the commonly used crushers that impact from different directions. The rotary breaker, on the other hand, breaks the mineral due to gravity, breaking at points of weakness such as foliation, cracks, etc. However, the rotary breaker has limitations such as on the size of its diameter, passing out of undersized particles without being crushed further, etc. The new device is an elliptical rail parallel rings on which the interconnected carrier assemblies move. The height of the device is such that the fall can be increased without significantly increasing the width. As the impact plate is fixed, it can effectively break more particles. The carrier plate acts as a screen and passes out all undersized particles, instantly. The lifting plates and deflecting plates guide and control the movement of particles from the feed end to the rejection end. Indian Patent application no. 202011028781

High air circulating Rotating Biological Contactor
Disclosed herein is a high air circulating Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC), an effective biological wastewater treatment system based on aerobic cell growth. RBC is basically a cylindrical drum in a rectangular tank comprising plurals of circular plates for the microbes to attach and grow. However, in the tank there are areas where anaerobic condition is created. This situation is not favorable for the growth of aerobic microorganisms. Therefore, prevention of this anaerobic condition is essential in the operation of RBC.
The invention specifically addresses the issue of removal of the anaerobic condition within the RBC, providing a cost efficient system. Aeration, which results in fast growth of microorganisms leading to effective treatment, is enabled in the RBC through plurals of holes in every pipe. Strengthening of the RBC is ensured by the exterior pipes. The invention finds application in the wastewater pollution control industries for an efficient way of treating the polluted wastewater. A Novel Fluidized Bed Reactor for treatment of Waste Water
The conventional waste water treatment methodologies, which comprise multiple unit operations, require high electrical energy and generate huge volume of sludge along with odor. The present invention is able to obviate these limitations by providing a new fluidised bed reactor. The act of fluidisation maintains uniform mixing of carbon catalyst immobilised with microorganisms throughout the reactor volume for effective wastewater treatment. The improved design facilitates the generation of very less quantity of sludge. Further, the problems of chocking of pipe line, normally envisaged in conventional systems, are completely eliminated in the new device. The exhausted odor gas venting out of the reactor can be easily purified externally before it is discharged into the environment. The reactor, which requires a minimum space, is envisaged to play a major role in solving problems relating to environmental pollution arising out of the waste water discharged from various processing industries as ell as domestic sources.
