Achievements

  • Played a key role in standardizing/establishing/popularizing chrome tanning and post-tanning processes in the region during seventies, which facilitated the up gradation of the industry from nascent state to a matured one.
  • Provided HRD support to catalyze the growth and development of leather goods industry in this region.
  • Extended data and design support needed for setting up of pre treatment plants, chrome recovery plants and CETP at CLC.
