INDUSTRIAL ENGINEEERING OF SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

ESSENTIAL OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING IN SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

The sample development and the production processes are in the same season, somehow the sample development process is consuming more time than the production. For the concern to reduces the duration of sample development process by the analyzing the issues and difficulties in each stage of process. Further have to find a solution for the causes by fishbone diagram and it represents the problems clearly to diagnose and bring out the proper methodology for that.

Forecasting: Forecasting is the process of estimating needs and requirement in terms of the existing processing of the development of timing, quality, and location for the desired process and service. Good forecast should be accurate, reliable, timely, easy to understand and cost effective and can be range from the simple to the extremely complex.

Analysing issues and difficulties: By determining the various causes and problems in each stage of development process tends to provide appropriate solutions for the problems. For better reviewing of causes and difficulties through fishbone diagram provides clear and concurrent of the solutions.

Process Planning and Control:  With the determined problems and difficulties, the scheduling of the work process and monitoring of the work and transparency of the work to the superior for the ease of understanding. Evaluation of the Process: Finally, the work evaluation provides the proper documentation for the future references and also to the continuous improvement.

Application of Industrial engineering concepts for design and development of leather products: The leather products sample development process consumes enormous amount of time and it needs to be undertaken with special attention and importance by the sampling department in industries in our country. In the present circumstances, leather products industries are geared up to engage on production and sample developmental applications at one go which is highly challenging for the industries to cope-up with the commitments like timely delivery of goods on time. Hence, it necessities to devise methods and processes in order to standardize uct development focus in the areas of colour forecasting, range building, design and retail analysis. The outcome envisaged is to strengthen the Indian   leather product design capabilities which would be reflected in product quality enhancement.
